Casio PX130 Reviews
Thank you Mr. Howard. Your information was quite comprehensive and was extremely
helpful. I have been researching "how to buy a digital piano"
and obtained quite a bit
of info from various sites (no where near as comprehensive as yours!). Your information helped substantiate
info I had gathered from other sources. Moreover, your information went above and beyond anything I could
have gathered.
I have decided on purchasing the Casio PX130. In the United States, this will run about
$500. I looked into the next price category up. I figured by investing a little more,
perhaps I could get a MUCH better piano. However, from what I could gather, the pianos which maintained the
same or better touch and sound were over $1500...a little too high for my pocket book right now. The only one
that fell within the under $750 that I was considering over the Casio PX130 was the Classenti P1. You rated
Casio PX130 number 2 in this price category and it has medium weighted keys. The Classenti P1 has heavy
weighted keys and also made your top ten over all (touch, sound, value, design..etc).
Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that Classenti's are made in the US. I googled the
brand and the UK pops up in all my searches. So I have settled on the Casio. I will
probably purchase the piano in the next month or so. If you have additional
suggestions/recommendations, I would be happy to hear what you have to say.
